I think that having had English classes in the university has been a good experience, I think that this language is a good necessary tool for today, I learned many things like vocabulary, phrases, rules and specific content of English, although there are things that still cost me such as speaking live in class because I feel much embarrassment and nervousness, but I think it is something that can be improved over time, I think that the exercise of writing blogs weekly generates that one can develop better and better the coherence of the text of which is written, It is useful to learn new words and create paragraphs with different verb tenses, if I think that one of the things to improve is the aspect of speech and therefore the conversation, I still need more fluency to express what I want to say, also writing is something that confuses me at times, but I think that for example listening to music or watching series and movies in English is a good exercise to better understand how ...

In general I like the curriculum of the career, one of the things I have enjoyed the most this year is the textile art workshop, where I have learned and created a lot. I really like this dynamic of a central workshop and a complementary one, interesting things arise when mixing two disciplines. but on the other hand, one of the many things that i think should be improved is in general the faculty of arts, specifically the headquarters of the oaks, i think that the infrastructure and space are not well distributed, i also think that the workshops should be improved because not all are in the best conditions, adapt them with good lighting, ventilation, fix the floor and other things, or also for example have the necessary elements to work in the workshops, such as good lecterns, tools or tables, ah! And also not to forget the bathrooms and the roof of the dining room so that everyone can be in a comfortable and safe environment. However not everything is bad, one of the things I li...

I think that if scientists or physicists or just people who understand about time travel would create a device for people to travel, in this case to the future, it would be a very interesting invention, I think that if the possibility to travel were given and obviously I could have access, I think I would do it but not being 100 percent sure, I would feel a little fear and insecurity but also intrigue for what I could find, see and discover. I think I would travel between 70 and 100 years into the future and the first thing I would like to know is what has become of my life in all that time, if I could do all the things I wanted to do, also to know about my family and friends, also to know how Chile and the world would be, if there are still humans on earth? or what has happened to nature and global warming? I think I would like to know many other things but at this moment I do not know what else it could be. I think I would not like to stay to live in that time and space, because...

In the previous semester, in the textile complementary workshop, I was learning about the extraction of natural dyes and how to dye with these different fibers and fabrics, during this process I discovered many interesting things, such as how to extract the pigment of a fruit or vegetable, its chromatic possibilities when applying a color modifier such as vinegar or lemon, or knowing that for the color to be absorbed well and last longer is necessary to mordant the fiber before it is going to dye, a well-known mordant is the alum stone. These were some of the many things I learned during that semester, but this research ended in the discovery of something else, which was the most enjoyable process, was the creation of a biomaterial.  From these experiments with natural dyes is that I could develop and investigate a different material, this starts as a way to recycle the dye that was left in the boiled water so that it was not wasted, this is how the idea of this bioplastic, w...

I think my favorite food is the zucchini lasagna, my version has as ingredients besides the pumpkin, mushrooms, cream, tomato sauce and cheese, it is a simple preparation and does not take much time, you can change or add as many things as you want, sometimes I also add spinach or carrots, I also sometimes add spinach or carrots, plus my favorite seasonings like oregano, thyme or basil, just cook the pumpkin, sauté the mushrooms and ready, the rest is added to assemble the layers of lasagna, then put it in the oven and wait for the cheese to melt to eat it. I think what I like the most is the flavor of the mushroom, which together with the cheese is very tasty. I try not to eat it too often and in small quantities because the combination of ingredients is sometimes a little heavy for the stomach.

One of the things I like to do is to draw, because with constant practice I can improve my technique and generate new things, I really enjoy the part of making the details in the drawing, as well as the shadows and lights to give volume to the forms, I also like the fact of drawing with different materials, can be graphite, colored pencils or charcoal, or also papers with different weights and surfaces. Another thing I've been doing for a while is crocheting, specifically the amigurumi technique, is of Japanese origin and the idea is that through the half stitch and the increase and decrease of this can form figures or characters with volume. I really enjoy doing this, especially for the process of creation, although it is slow and requires concentration on the knitting, I find it interesting how you can generate shapes through the repetition of the same point. To learn this technique I watched many tutorials on youtube on how to start in the world of knitting, I also learned to i...

When I was a child, I dreamed of being a veterinarian (like most children), I was also interested in being a doctor or a dancer. During college I realized that I liked several careers, one of them was archeology, graphic design, visual arts, interior design, I also enjoyed cooking, specifically pastry, this last one I still like and would consider studying it in the future. After finished the school i was studing in a pre-university for a year, in the 2019 i decide to study art, because what motivated me, was learning to develop my own esthethic, create works, learn about many techniques, and to stimulate much more my creativity. Until this moment the esperience in the university it has been good, just I would have like to spend more time in the workshop for to have learned the practical contents in a different way, but also i understand that is difficult for the current pandemic.
