In the previous semester, in the textile complementary workshop, I was learning about the extraction of natural dyes and how to dye with these different fibers and fabrics, during this process I discovered many interesting things, such as how to extract the pigment of a fruit or vegetable, its chromatic possibilities when applying a color modifier such as vinegar or lemon, or knowing that for the color to be absorbed well and last longer is necessary to mordant the fiber before it is going to dye, a well-known mordant is the alum stone. These were some of the many things I learned during that semester, but this research ended in the discovery of something else, which was the most enjoyable process, was the creation of a biomaterial.  From these experiments with natural dyes is that I could develop and investigate a different material, this starts as a way to recycle the dye that was left in the boiled water so that it was not wasted, this is how the idea of this bioplastic, w...

I think my favorite food is the zucchini lasagna, my version has as ingredients besides the pumpkin, mushrooms, cream, tomato sauce and cheese, it is a simple preparation and does not take much time, you can change or add as many things as you want, sometimes I also add spinach or carrots, I also sometimes add spinach or carrots, plus my favorite seasonings like oregano, thyme or basil, just cook the pumpkin, sauté the mushrooms and ready, the rest is added to assemble the layers of lasagna, then put it in the oven and wait for the cheese to melt to eat it. I think what I like the most is the flavor of the mushroom, which together with the cheese is very tasty. I try not to eat it too often and in small quantities because the combination of ingredients is sometimes a little heavy for the stomach.

One of the things I like to do is to draw, because with constant practice I can improve my technique and generate new things, I really enjoy the part of making the details in the drawing, as well as the shadows and lights to give volume to the forms, I also like the fact of drawing with different materials, can be graphite, colored pencils or charcoal, or also papers with different weights and surfaces. Another thing I've been doing for a while is crocheting, specifically the amigurumi technique, is of Japanese origin and the idea is that through the half stitch and the increase and decrease of this can form figures or characters with volume. I really enjoy doing this, especially for the process of creation, although it is slow and requires concentration on the knitting, I find it interesting how you can generate shapes through the repetition of the same point. To learn this technique I watched many tutorials on youtube on how to start in the world of knitting, I also learned to i...
